Boulder’s Symplified fills out executive team

symplified logoBoulder-based cloud access services company Symplified on Tuesday bulked up its executive team with veterans from the likes of Sun Microsytems and Quest Software

Brian Doheny — formerly the vice president of worldwide sales for Quest’s user workspace management group — is now Symplified’s senior vice president of worldwide field operations.

Vasa Dasan — a Sun veteran who most recently was the chief technology officer of the Scott McNealy-founded Wayin — is Symplified’s vice president of engineering.

Randy Streu — formerly the vice president of development for DynamicOps (since acquired by VMware) — will serve as Symplified’s vice president of business development.

In the hiring announcement, Symplified CEO Shayne Higdon said the added experience could help vault the Boulder firm to a leadership position.

“More than 50 percent of IAM deployments will be hybrid by 2015, integrating cloud-based applications with enterprise-side software, according to Gartner analysts. Symplified is poised to be at the forefront of that market, enabling organizations to manage user identities and access across any device or application, whether on-premises or in the cloud. Brian, Vasa and Randy round out our leadership team with the experience to help establish Symplified as the primary way businesses, employees, partners, and customers access Web and mobile apps, simply and securely, anywhere in the world.”
