LinkSmart Inc., a Boulder-based company that aims to improve web publishers’ traffic and user engagement through text links, this week hired web publishing industry veteran Emmanuel “Manny” Puentes as its chief technology officer.
Puentes most recently served in a similar capacity for Federated Media Publishing, which acquired Boulder-based Lijit Networks in 2011. Puentes was Lijit’s CTO.
Before joining Lijit, Puentes helped develop the backbone of Louisville-based Raindance Communications’ web conferencing service, LinkSmart officials said.
