Next week, three Boulder County companies will be among five bioscience firms competing for a cash prize — and, not to mention, attention from industry members and investors — at the Colorado BioScience Association’s 9th BioWest Conference.
As part of the Sept. 11 conference’s Venture Showcase, Boulder firms Siva Therapeutics Inc. and SuviCa Inc. and Longmont’s Flashback Technologies Inc. will tout their technologies and compete against each other and against Fort Collins’ KromaTiD and VetDC for a $7,500 cash prize.

A slew of Boulder-area companies also will be exhibiting at the conference, which will take place at the Marriott City Center in Denver.
