Boulder’s JustRight Surgical raises $5.56M

6/4/13 UPDATE: JustRight officials confirmed that the $6.5 million round was filled.

A quick look through Securities and Exchange Commission filings made today revealed that a startup biotechnology company in Boulder raised a few million dollars in equity capital.

Boulder-based JustRight Surgical LLC, formerly named Innovative Pediatric Devices LLC, has raised $5.56 million of a planned $6.5 million offering, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings made Thursday.

A total of 44 investors participated in the round, the filings indicate.

A call to Russell Lindemann, the company’s CEO, was not returned for comment.

Additional information about the company and its operations were not immediately available. JustRight, which was founded in 2010, has applied for trademarks with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

JustRight Surgical raised $4.2 million last year, according to SEC filings posted on Feb. 14, 2011.
